Dear Fried,
As u said that your Previous employer had deducted P.Tax from your salary, If the Registered Office of the company is not situated at delhi they can not deduct the P.Tax, if they had wrongly deducted in that case they are bound to refund it. firt u confirm that whether the registered office of the company is located in delhi or not, else u may send me the name of the company i will check it out.

Dear Deepak,
I am working in a software company in Chennai. I want to deduct professional tax for our employees. Kindly let me know the slab to deduct PT. I have a slab stating that the half yearly income is such and such then the PT is so on so. I want to clarify that if a salary for a person is Rs.15000/- per month then what amount I have to deduct as PT? Shall I deduct the PT at the end, i.e, on March salary? Kindly let me know at the earliest then only I can able to deduct the same in this March salary.

Dear all
can anyone help me out for PT office address in Madhya Pradesh........also pls. suggest as we dont have an office in M.P but our employees are deployed there, hence PT is deducted from their salaries, but we are unable to deposit it in respective authority (as we dont have office, hence no registration for PT)....pls advise...
