Default What would be needed for the Inhouse Programmed HRIS??????

Dear HR Fraternity,

I need some advise or some resources to work on for the HRIS in my company. We have Inhouse Programmers for this Assignement. We already programmed Software which could track the Productivity of the Associates. but what should be comprising the HRIS to track most of the Domains in HRIS section????

Hi Pankaj

On what platform you earlier application is built?

If you are from HR, technology platform will not bother you much but your prgrammers should be able to code that for you.

There are two popular choices
a) ASP.net
b) J2EE

Both have their own merits. (Our SmilesERM is J2EE based.)

Having decided upon the technology, you will need to brief your programmers what you desire out of that application.
Your first step would be to document role definitions, Organisation Hierarchy, desired system workflow.
In the second step your progammers will create a prototype for testing and then final development will be done.

As a HR manager you should be clear what you desire out of this system.
