i want to do HR-marketing, i love marketing

hi everyone,
i want to do my hr-marketing as i have an option of dual,
so i like marketing and my families choice is HR so i want to do project in both or in HR as it would be my major
so please will anyone suggest on which area i can do my project

Dear Anu

First of all be adamant and just go for Marketing coz you love to do it.But one thing make sure before proceed that -for the fresher marketing=sale....a cruel fact!

HR is very good subject (specially for girls...my perception).And if you want to do any project go for any of these :training & development/selection & requirement etc etc lots of topic are there in HR.

thank so much for replying me swagath. Ya i want to do my project in HR as its my major. Im planning for doing marketing projects but for my self. not for the submission at the college. As i will be going for HR i thought doing a project in HR would be helpful in my placements. So i would like to know, how i can get HR projects and what should be my approach to get these.

My humble suggestion would be do some introspection , identify your skill sets , decide what is your major and you want to pursue your career in then take a call i.e H.R or Marketing (Believe in your Gut and self introspection)
Post all that take up a right project which will be of value add at campus while final placements

First of all remember, major and minor are matters of aptitude, skill and interest. Do not attempt to satisfy all around you. Career goals do not run on diplomacy.

Choose something you are passionate about, you feel you can excel in.

Hi Anu,
I agree with M.T. First of all identify your interests and skills. Identify the things which you can perform with ease and those things in which you can excel. Give credibility to those things which can help you achieve your goal and in the mean time acquire those additional skills which will give you an extra amount of satisfaction in other interested areas.
People generally want to do the things of their interest and stay behind in other areas due to various reasons, some of the main reasons are, lack of will power and much needed hard work to achieve their interested goal through out the way. Most of them leave the things half way.
As long as you keep track of your goal you can get anything you want provided when the above things are in mind.
