hi Raul ,

I believe money should not be the single factor to switch the job.The repo of the company in market does matter also.So keep with ur current job and wait for the good opportunity.

As i told Money does nt matter............ How much the package is but it cant be better than the company repo.suppose if u join a co. which havnt a good repo in the mkt just imagine upto which extent it spoils ur CV.I have a real life experience of this.I know a person Who has changed his job just bcoz of the package but nw he feels regret.Thats trying understand n wait for good oppartunity, for the long term relationship.

Dear Raul
Two things you can consider before you shift to your job
If you consider monetory benefits, then you can switch over the new company without any hesitation

Incase, you want to stick with your previous employer(waiting for their promise), you may stick with them for some more time, till they fulfil
their commitment.

Hi

If you think that a job switch will benefit you in a long run as to enhance your skills and creditionals then go for it. Moreover if u stay in ur present employment they will always look you with suspicion that he might live for greener pastures . Also Money is very imp in life !

So go for it !

Also with ur increase salary do give me a party if u join!

Cheers

Rohit

You have not indicated, how long you are in the current job. REST IF YOU MUST, BUT DONT YOU QUIT. Do not quit, unless you have a Godfather in the new company. If you have put in 3 to 5 years experience, do not quit. If you have put in more than 10 years, may be you can quit.

Dear Folks....
Good afternoon and thanks you all for the valuable inputs to my query...Please take a note that i am not leaving my current company and not joining the next company...A good news is that my company has given me a higher designation and i am now the north india head in my company in HR. Last but not the least a good hike in salary as well (a little but i am satisfied). After 3 days rigorous negotiation with my bosses i have come to this conclusion. The change in designation and the compensation will be effective apr 08 and i am excited to grab it.

I thank all of you for your valuable inputs and welcome comments on my discission.

Regards
Raul
