Respected sirs, Could you please help me with regard to Pf now we are started one small company which is having 25 people as of now we havig labour registration certificate, SSI certificate and VAT Certificate thats all. So Now our employees are demanding Pf deduction but i could not able to do that one because we didn't have pf registration. now my queries are as fallows 1. we have not applied for factory licence so if we i want a get a pf Registration is it compulsory to apply for factoey licence. 2. with out getting factory licence is able to get Pf Code? 3. we have a plant in two different location so is this possible to get a single Pf Code for two location or we have to get separate code for each location? 4. Is this neccessaty to get pollution control board certificate for PF registration. Pls do the needful, Thanks Kumar

Dear Mr Kumar It is quite some time I handled registration However, whatever nlittle I know I am sharing 1. we have not applied for factory licence so if we i want a get a pf Registration is it compulsory to apply for factoey licence. Yes , you need to get your factory.factories registered under Factories Act However, you can submit the application stating that you have submited application for registration 2. with out getting factory licence is able to get Pf Code? Yes it is possible to get a code without registering under factories Act 3. we have a plant in two different location so is this possible to get a single Pf Code for two location or we have to get separate code for each location? It is possible to get a single code for two locations. In fact they give that way only 4. Is this neccessaty to get pollution control board certificate for PF registration I am not very sure about this. Pollution Control Certificates are insisted to make an awareness than as a condition precedent. They may ask for it.But they will release the code Siva

Dear Kumar It is compulsory to obtain the PF registeration if anybody employing more than 20 employees. For that u have to apply firstly for Factory Licence. Without getting factory licence, it is not possible to get PF registeration. Meanwhile u can do one thing, u take the registeration code of ur sister concern the deposit the amount of PF in SBI A/c in their code, this is the only solution at this situation. Regards Mukesh

Dear Kumar I forgot to answer the last question. For getting registeration for PF u have no need to get the clearance from Pollution Board bcoz while getting Factory Licence this comes into action. Regards Mukesh
