Hi

Pl let me know the address of your establishment so that I will let you know whom to contact for registration. In TN, there is registration under TN Shops & Estt. Act. Instead the Asst. Inspector of Labour will give a R. DIS. No. (Retained Disposal Number) in Form-III issued under TN National & Festival Holidays Act. Kindly approach the department with Form-I, II, V & S, duly filled.

You may also contact me for clarifications.

Dear Mr.JKMcemail
No shop/establishment/commecial establishment need be registered under the Tamilnadu Shops and Establishments Act. There is no provision in the Tamilnadu Shops and Establishments Act which requires an employer to register his establishment/shop/commercial establishment under this Act. This is the legal position as on today.
With regards
V.HARIKRISHNAN

Hi Mr.Raj Narayanan,
You have to register with Shop & Establishment & ESI Authority.Since no. of employees does not exceed you may decide about the EPF Registration.(i.e.not mandatory)
