HRM Framework - A Simple Model - Job Descriptions

tsivasankaran Started The Discussion:

Very simple conceptual framework of HRM. Have a great reading

Five Important Parameters of HRM

A framework or a model that provides a possible solution encompassing critical components and deliverables of HR.

1.The first parameter depicts the mission and goals, which is representative of specific objectives of a particular business unit within an organisation. It is critical to have this clearly articulated and disseminated to all concerned.

2.There has to be a smart organisation consisting of clear strategy, an effective structure, and the state of the art systems - an architect as it were, manifest in the paradigm.

3. This should translate into job specifications or job descriptions- an explicit documentation of roles and tasks

4. Now, it is almost a death knell if an optimal blend of skill and attitude is not ensured while injecting new blood - lateral or entry level hires- into the organisation. People strategies fail if the hiring process is erroneous.

5 Finally the ambience is the cultural canopy or the emotional zone under which the person operates. The organisational values and style pretty much shape and influence the behavioural responses of people.

When these five parameters come into play, the consequence is the result or the "performance"
