Hi every one,
I am in a strange situation. I have resigned from some company and joined a new company. I wanted an early relieve from my previous employer so that i could join my current employer in time. So what i did was i gave resignation letter and left the job before notice period and joined new company. Now the problem is my previous employer is not willing to give relieving letter. Will there be any solution to my problem? and also what i did was correct? since i was desperately in need of change i quit the previous job and joined new company. Please reply to this at the earliest..i am seriously in need of relieving letter from my previous employer.

Hi Coolprince,
There's nothing to worry much about it. All you need to do is , tell your new employer that the concern person havent issued your relieving letter due to some heavy work load. And you will be able to get it only when he is free from all those stuff. Tell them that you will submit your relieving letter soon.
If the company where you are joining is not a very big and famous company then no need to worry, if not then take some time and make sure that you will produce what they need in time.
Thanks & Regards

Hi, were you able to get the letter?
a frind of mine is in a similar situation and needs the relieving letter(the new company is a big shot and famous one). He is really depressed and worried as if he doesnt join with in the date the offer would be nullified (he has also resigned from his current company but is not getting the release before 60days - notice period, which the new company is not agreeing to)
Please help.

The reason we are having these relieving letter issues is because we do not take time to read and understand our joining instructions. We need to be more agressive and future focussed when discussing terms with our prospective employers. Then follow these terms religiously
