I am working for a Ceramic tile manufacturing Company. We would like to redesign a performance appraisal form of Junior Management employees who are working in Operations. Pl. help me in sending a sample form from building materail industry.
Please talk to the functional heads. Ask them what's the way they would like to check performance of the operators. Then align the entire needs to a presentation. Present this to all the functional heads & fine tume it. The idea is the appraisal system should to adaptable to the unique needs of your company. Good PMS is one which is acceptable by the line managers & they should feel that HR is actually adding value to the process of PMS.
Some important points
At the operators level
a) attitude should be a component to be measured
b) The measures which be quantifiable with a lead & lag measure. This will remove subjectivity in the Appraisal process.
