Dear Friends,
What is your viewpoint on FUTURE of HR in Real Estate/Infrastructure industry? According to me, the industry as such is not mature enough to recognize various aspects of HR. Infact, it's still Personnel management and not Human Resource Management.
Please comment..

See HR plays more or less similar role in all sectors obviously some variations occur according to the sectoral needs.
In real estate sector , HR would be assuming the roles like:
  • Recruitment
  • Induction
  • Training ( Functional and Behavioral )
  • Performance Management
  • Compensation
  • Employee Engagement
  • Reward system
  • Exit formalities and full and final settlement
In Real Estate , big names have become cautious about employees and they have started gving importance to HR.
Some companies are also establishing such departments, which offer HR professionals a great opportunity to show their capabilties by starting evrything from a scratch
