HI HR GURU'S, I AM A B.COM GRADUATE. I WAS RECRUITED BY WIPRO THROUGH CAMPUS INTERVIEW. PLEASE SUGGEST ME WHICH WILL BE GOOD EITHER TO HAVE A WORK EXPERIENCE OR TO GO FOR HIGHER STUDIES. MY PARETNTS WANT ME TO GO ONLY FOR HIGHER STUDIES. 'PLEASE SHOW A RIGHT PATH FOR MY TRAVEL'

Well if you ask me...I can give only suggestions..But ultimately you have to decide..

As you told you have been selected...MAy i know what's the job profile...

If you interested in studying , if can go for MBA in HR, This will give you more knowledge..

But you have another chance to do MBA in correspondence..

If job profile is good..please go head..

If you can send the job profile , i can suggest based on that...That will precise,

First of all i am not expert..

Anyways...

See, doing MBA in corespondence is no where equal to regular MBA..and if he/ she is fresher then it will not add more value..
But as you are already working, no problem it will help you in our career.. but knowledge you can't get as regular..In some companies, Correspondence MBA is not given much preference, Ie the growth is slow..BUT BUt it all depends on the Company HR policy..

I suggest as you are working and also been studying... Do try to concentrate on your studies..There is nothing like you have attend class to gain knowledge..Atlest not in current world..

I suggest no need of again going to study....

The most imp thing is Qualification. I suggest you to take up further studies, since that will help in future growth…… job which you are offered right now will be of starter – fresher or of a BOP executive… correct me if wrong…. For a B.Com if you see there is not scope for development… in big companies…. Also correspondence courses are not much of help… unless you have a big degree with you….

Please suggest me about higher studies.whether to go for MBA or for some professional Courses and also please suggest me if i quit my job today,will this affect my carrier in future. My friends tell that Quitting a job in 8 months from a reputed concern is not good . I am deeply wounded heartedly by these words, I think u experts can guide in a better manner

if they want u to go 4 higher studies, do that.
even i was selected in an mnc for Rs. 13,000 sal in finance dept,after my b.com
but i rejected and doing mba in hr

Govt job? Private? Want to go abroad? Nationaliswed Banks?Public Sector?

1. For you CA is a very good option After CA you can get into any of the above options

2. MBA Finance/ Marketing in an Institute ranked within the first 30

3. If you can not get both or if you are not confident of both these options, join MBA in a decnt college and pesue your NIIT.

4. You have another option of ICWA

5 If you have liking for HR which you can not say now, then take up HR as a specilation alongwith Finance

Congrats !!! its a great feeling being selected from the campus itself.

couple of floating ideas ... to help you make your decision ..

debate is NOT wether you should go in for the job or NOT .. debate is that how would your career path differ in case you do .. and if you don't.

India is perhaps the only country, where students first complete their full education and then look for jobs.

In all other countries ... to undertake an MBA (which is the logial choice) only after AT LEAST 3 years of job experience. Its logical too, you can actually apply all the learning to your work ex and UNDERSTAND the concept instead of the theory.

In india however, you complete your study, and then try and apply the theory to practice.... SO ????

I would suggest, go in for your JOB ... its a great point on your CV that you were selected from campus. Work for two years .. study in the meantime for CAT , GMAT, XAT, and then get into a mgt instt..

1) the chances of gettin IN increases .. two .... you actually understand the whole routine ..

Whatever path you choose ... all the best for that ..
