SAP HR boom

Everybody is talking about SAP HR...But my question is that is it really a boom or it is just a wave like Java which was distroyed after 3 years.
Investing a huge money and changing the line after 4-5 years of experience in core HR.....will it prove a right decision?

I sincerely request all seniors and SAP HR consultants to give proper guidance>>>
