Dear Sender CL can not be encashed-May vary from company to company. Only EL can be encashed There is ceiling for accumulation of EL Regards L.Kumar

CL & SL cannot be encash & accumulated.
but PL can Encash & accumulated till 3 years (variable )
in this regard i m sending u a leave policy.
if any other help u required so feel free to ask me

Earned Leave calculation
The Factories Act 1948 says:
Every worker who has worked for a period of 240 days or more in a factory during a calendar year shall be allowed during the subsequent calendar year, leave with wages for a number of days calculated at the rate of
1. (i) if an adult,one day for every twenty days of work performed by him during the previous calendar year;
5. provided that the total number of days of leave that may be carried forward to a succeeding year shall not exceed thirty in the case of an adult or forty in the case of a child.
CL and SL can be given by the management. but there is no rule for CL and Sl

Am working in a hotel in HR department,my company decided 18 paid leave & 12 casual leave, Please help me how to made PL & CL register or calculation. This hotel is opened 9 months ago.

WOULD YOU PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION WITH PROPER LEGAL DOCUMENTS (i.e RULES AND REGULATION OF LIMITED COMPANY) SUPPORTED.
MY QUESTION AS FOLLOWS:- IN RECENT DEVELOPMENT IN OUR COMPANY ,"HR"(MANAGEMENT) DECIDED AND AMENDED THE PAID LEAVE (30 DAYS AS ELIGIBLE)CAN NOT BE CARRIED FORWARD TO NEXT FINANCIAL YEAR. ALL EMPLOYEES HAS TO CONSUME 30 DAYS WITHIN THAT YEAR ITSELF, IN ANY CASE NOT CONSUMED PL (PAID LEAVE) SHALL NOT BE ACCOUNTED FOR ACCUMULATION AND SHALL EXPIRE REMAINING DAYS OF UNUSED LEAVE.
THEREFORE, TELL ME IS THERE ANY SUCH RULE FOR PUBLIC LIMITED (MNC) COMPANIES "PL" TO CARRY FORWARD TO THE NEXT FINANCIAL YEAR IN CASE OF NOT UTILIZED FULLY (i.e BALANCE UNUSED PL) AND ALSO EXPLAIN THE "PL" ACCUMULATION LIMIT AS PER THE STANDARD RULES.
