Dear All,

I have been recently internally transferred to HR Department after spending about 2 years in a Finance company as Secretary to GM & AGM I joined this New Airlines as Secretary to VP Flt Ops.

My main job in previous company was to do correspondence as well as to maintain database and prepare MIS etc.

Now I am new to HR, not an MBA, willing to pursue correspondence MBA.
I would like thank before any help delivered me to maintain my profile.

I would like to know

1. Is this is a demotion if I am transferred to the post of Executive reporting to Asst. Manager, HR, from Secretary to VP xyz.
2. Can any one give me Job Description (Latest) of Asst. Mgr , Executive, Secretary to VP, HR and the latest pay scale.

hi!

No Its not a demotion at any angle..

u shuld be happy tht u will be getting exposer to all the activites which are involed in ur boss KRA's.

Ur job description or main area of responsibility will be derived out of ur mail boss KRA's i.e. ur mail KRA will be to assist and co-ordinate him to his day to day activities and even in some of the special project he had lined up..

Pay scale may wary with the Kind of industry ur dealing with.. and since ur in service industry ..and they are known for paying good to their employees...

so just cheer up n take the challenge...
