Default career change

hi all,
i am working as HR-executive with one small firm but i feel that this field is not meant for me.I have done my B.com and now i wish to change my field .I want to enter into the field of IT-sector for which i know ,i need to have a knowledge of software.Can anybody suggest me as which softwares are in demand today and also being a B.com graduate which would be the feasible course for me , so that i can equip my IT knowledge to make a successful entry into the desired field.
Can someone shower light on my dielemma.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Being a B.Com, you can opt for tally package and again this will be purely on your interest.

i'm a student at icfai
and yes i'll recommend u to go for a MCA via icfai by distance learning w.r.t the intellectual capital icfai is having and also the benfits that u can accrue from icfai and its course
cos this will be a masters in computer application
getting u the knowledge of softwares as well as hardwares
so....................

and since i'm a student at icfai may be i can of some help to u w.r.t pre and post admission facilities
so if u find the words worthy enough
