You may simply name them - Conference Hall 1, Conference Hall 2 etc. They are better as people may still refer them 'Name of the Conf hall' is the first conference hall on the left !!!!

If you still want some good names:
Navigator, explorer , Big fight

If you have some great color combination in each of these rooms, you may go by 'Yellow Room', 'Blue Room' etc

You may also give names based on Indian classical Ragas like - Asasavari, Yaman, Malhar, Kedar, Regards Abhijit

Naming on 'top performers' is an issue. It may create a friction. And what if that performer leaves? Will you change the name of the room every month? I agree, if it is named on the founders.

Hi Deepti,

I would suggest you first take a call on the number of rooms. This will help u decide the best option.

eg. if it is one room - you can call it anything among the wonderful suggestions given here.

If it is 2-3 and likely to go up to a max of 5 - you can try the five elements - like wind, water, fire, sky & earth

Between 5-9 you can use the planets, or use the actual Greek names of these planets.

Hope this would help.

Regards,
Shomes

I agree with Shomes........ good suggestion....

But if you are really looking for only one room, Thats the conference room for knoweldge sharing and discussion then go for Manjali's suggestion " INSIGHT HOUSE".......

Put in founders' name not top performers' names...... creates alot of misunderstanding......

Paromita

In case of more than one conference room, you could plan the decor of the rooms differently and name them accordingly. For example one room could be named "Pracheen" (or an equivalent synonym) and the decor can be one symbolising prehistoric time. Another could be named "Futura" and could have a decor accordingly. You could also name them for seasons (Spring, summer, autumn, winter) and have the decor and colour scheme accordingly. Then each room would have a "personality" of its own.

Alternatively to encourage employee involvement, you could have a contest asking participating employees for appropriate names and decide the names based on the winning entries
