Hi,
PF is been contributed @ 12% of basic salary from employee side and 3.67% (As rest 8.33% goes to Pension fund) employer side..
So based on this you may calculate the amount according to your basic salary during the period.. Moreover interest rate of 9% will also be paid as announced by the government..
To get the amount visit your previous employer and fill up the PF withdrawal form 10C and Form 19.. and submit it to the HR department.. they will proceed it to the PF department and within a month you will get your amount back in your mentioned bank account number..

Hi,
It also depend upto your attendance example.
Basic is 5000 then the PF 5000 @ 12% that is 600
but if you have exhaust with your sanctioned leaves.and your month of attendance is 25 days then 5000/30*25=4166 therefore 4166 @c 12% therefore 499.It mean that as per the attendance your PF is also calculated.
first you have to ask your HR that PF is in which type that is capped basic or on actuals.
