Default Sourcing in Rural Areas

Hi Seniors,

Greetings to you.

I am one of the HR Managers in a leading Insurance Co looking after recruitment for rural areas of Gujarat. I have been here for last 6 months and have done a good number of recruitment so far. However, I would like to know from all the experienced members if they can suggest me some new ways of sourcing since finding the right talent from the remote area is a challenge. I have tried referrel scheme, newspaper advert and some other ways of which some of them worked and some didn't.

I request you to let me know some ideas and ways of being able to aquire right talent from remote locations.

Thanks & Regards,

Mehul Mehta

Dear Mehta,

Well, have you been visited to District Employment Office?

If you go there you can collect more talented candidates resumes through

DEO becuase you can choose yourself as per your requirement.

try this way and it will be more useful I think,

Dear Shriram,

Thanks for your suggestion. However, I have already thought of this option but due to some strict rules and regulation and a lenthy process involved in getting data from Employment Exchanges most of the private companies refrain from collecting data from there. I would be grateful if somebody can let me know the ways of getting data through them withing getting in to legal complications.

Dear Mehta,

As for as my concern, I got the candidates from the same manner as I

informed, but there is no legal complication here in Tamil Nadu.

I got the Approval Letter from my M D and I have shown to D E O.

Then I got all the relevant informations from there.

Try this way definitely it will be worked out.

With Regards,
