Default HR LIFE IN SYDNEY

Dear Friends

I was an active member of this site few days back. I got married in September and moved to Sydney in the same month and I dint have time to check up this site. Anyways, I would like to share my work experience in Sydney since many are anticipated to come abroad.

I was working as a HR Associate in an MNC in Chennai. I have solid 3 years of experience in General HR. When I was working in Chennai, I got many offers from Corporates. Since my husband is working in Sydney I had to leave my job in India.

I came to sydney with so much of hopes since I have completed my Masters in HR and also I had 3+ years of experience in the same field.

When I started looking out for a Job (Any field) I really got fed up with the way they recognise us.

Every company in Australia what some one with their Tertiary Education background & experience. They will not consider any resumes if we dont have the local qualification & experience.

I am sending my resume to atleast min 20 companies per day but the reply i get from everyone is Sorry your profile is rejected because no local qualification nor experience

I managed to join a Indian company who are into exports. I am working as an Admin Clerk and when I try for other opportunites I really get sick and tired. Now Im planning to do some part time course so that I can manage to get a job.

Oe of my friend who came here with her family is still trying for a job for past 3 months. Her whole family is depending on her now.

My kind advice, people who are planning to come to Australia, please make sure to get a job and then come orelse if ur financially strong then it is fine

I think this mail will be of a small info to others

Regards
