Dear all i need some clarification if anybody can help for the benefit of all if an employee took leave from friday to monday we usually calculate the leave for 4 daysinclusive of sat & sun. my question is if the employee took the leave before the national holiday or festival holiday and after the holiday will we include the holiday also as leave or we have to take only 2 days leave alone. regards ramanathan.l

Dear all we want to formalize our leave policy. tomorrow being national holiday october 02 we have a holiday. if somebody took a leave today i.e. october o1 then his tomorrows holiday should also be considered as a leave and deducted from his leave balance? or what is the case. similarly if somebody took a leave from monday to friday sat & sunday weekly off then his following saturday & sunday should also be considered as a leave or what is the case? if any body combines his leave with company paid holidays then that holiday should be considered as a leave and deducted from leave balance? please advise. kindly guide me regarding the leave related rules asap. tomorrow we have a meeting and need to take decision on the same.

Hi all i work in an hr in it company where there was recently an audit done and as per the feedback shared by the auditors they have mentioned that when an employee takes long leaves and a holiday comes in the middle that holiday will also be considered as leave and not a holiday. should i follow that ..as a rule or that can be skipped in the interest of the employee? also there was another thing that was pointed out by the auditors that when an employee goes on long leave for more than 1 week then in the following weeks saturdays and sundays will also be considered as leaves eg 2 weeks holidays as per me makes 10 leaves of the employees but as per the auditor it makes 12 leaves. i am confused please assist.
