Dear Dhoop Varma
You can make any one of the day in a week to receive grievance from employees ( all categories) on a piece of paper.
Record them on the spread sheet
Identify the grievances of employees, and the problems, grievances
which are rectifiable instantly, should be solved immediately and issues which need certain approval, procedures to be followed/implemented etc. you can frame time schedule.
Please ensure that the grievanes should be solved before the commencement of next week
Normally, all grievances are for non receipt of certain monetory benefits, and adjustment of leave, medical etc.
With regards

Hi to all...

some of the practices which we intiated in our company :

Employee Interaction Meeting: This will be held every thursday where all the employees will join the meeting which will be headed by department heads/ HR Manager/ CEO. ( HR makes sure that any one of these attend the meeting). employees are welcome to discuss all the matters pertaining to their work , work area, facilities, any grievenceis would be shared by them and instat resonse/ solutions would be provided. it is the platform to give any valuable suggestions also. HR person will be the cordinator where in all the discusstions, suggestions, greveinces will be recorded. to motivate the employees to attend the meeting, lucky draws where in attractive gifts would be given to the winner.

We have formed Grivence handling Committee: the committee consists of representatives from across the functions along with HR representative. Committee would sit & discuss all the griveviences if any for every 3 month. it may be pertaining to transport, food, work area, facilities, leaves etc.

if some one has other best practice followed, kindly share.....

Regards
Aravind
