How an employee is benefited by giving mediclaim to him and his family members. |

Yes,
He gets an exemption of amount 1250/- per month from taxes.

Mediclaim and benefit?? why, his family is covered for hospitalisation and in case of any hospitalisation he gets reimbursed to the extend of coverage

hai friend
if u have mediclaim policy,
u can check ur health ,during accidents etc ,if u go to the hospitals that enlisted in that policy then u get the money in advance,or u go any hospitals then u reimburse the amount by producing the bills ,any how sbi is offering when u get credit card ,also separate policy available,

Dear Britto,
Mediclaim is used when the policy holder/dependents is hospitalized or undergoing a treatment in hospital.
There are 2 ways:
1) If it is a planned treatment then the information has to be given to the respective mediclaim provider so that the amount will be given.
2) In case of emergency treatment admit the patient in any hospital, after the treatment is over. Claim can be done by submitting the original bills and other relevant documents.
