Hi,
It might sound a bit dumb, may seem to be a case of high hopes but I have this question in my mind...
Is it possible for a management student (me of-course) MSHRM from a non-premier B-School to get a placement abroad?
I donot have any experience.
Plz guide me
THanks and Regards,

Dear sonit,
As you have no experience it is all the more difficult to find a job abroad. Especially in HR one needs to know the culture and the laws of the country unlike for other jobs. Only a HR course abroad can facilitate a job there. All the Best

Hi Sonit

I would like to respond to your querie in the following lines , I have 6 yrs of abroad experience and continuing

First of all , as far as the HR profession is concerned India is best launching pad for any HR person as we have many MNC and honorable indian firms which adopt HR policies and senior professionals still working in pursuit of new innovations in the HR field , It is b'coz of these seniors here Indian HR personnels are rich in demand

As far as gulf countries concerned still some good companies are sailing with old non HR qualified personnels in the administration department , B,coz of these countries and companies are financially sound they paid low attention to HR side, but in in the late 90s Dubai companies made a huge turn around with HR management ,which then the medias highlighted and exposed the Indian skill to other GCC countries

Here I use to observe the opening options for HR manager every day in the news papers some specially insists for Indian Managers

It is obvious one should aquire sufficient exposure in the field and pursue for a job in abroad, But there are companies who recruit freshers for trainee posts where minimum salary and nil benefits offered. As per the GCC law you can get yourself relived until unless sponsor agreed, normally this lock up period is 2-5 years. You may loose some good opportunities in between. Again the training and skill aquistion may not as you expected or in par with one you may get from India

Hence it is very much advisable to aquire some good experience in India and go for abroad jobs

hi Karuna,
Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I have a idea now that if I have an experience in India and then look out for an opportunity abroad then I would be able to scale great heights.
Hence I have decided to look out for a job in India once I complete my course and then shape my career accordingly.
Thanks and Regards,
Sonit Singh

Dear Friends,
I am pursuing Hospitality management, and want to focus on Hotel management/Human Resource management in hotel. My family is not in support of my career path, and am suffering intimidations of all kind. The believe of my family is that the career is not well paid, and on other part it will take a longer time to achieve since I have no experience.
I need advice and encouragement.
Thank you.
