Default Induction Process

Dear All,

Kindly help me in providing guidelines to set up an Induction Process. I am associated with a Consulting Firm working in the area of Logistics/Supply Chain.

We do have a joining kit, which states the various information that a joiner may provide and also the various forms (like PF, Insurance, Investment etc) that he may fill. Please let me know what else to incorporate in this procedure.

Thanks in advance for your valuable inputs

Dear Pavitra,

you need to categorize the Induction into two parts :
1. Org Induction - Joining , HR policies, meeting key people, knowing the product and seeing the production/office, and knowledge of the other departments

2. Functional Induction - All about the things the incumbent needs to know about the work that he needs to do ...make a seperate Induction prog for Sales/Marktng/Production/HR/Fin. etc ...
The theme line should be to tell all 20% things which he needs at 80% of the time ..

trying thinking on these lines as your requirement would be very customized....

regards,
Vaibhav
