Hi Rakhee,

Induction Manual - This is basically a small introduction to the organisation wherein details of the organisation, its different teams, the general dos and don'ts and a brief outline of the HR rules and regulations/policies.

Policy Manual - This is basically the "bible" for all employees! This would include all detailed infromation about the different policies of the organisation including all the HR policies, the guidelines of the organisation; the vision, mission of the organisation etc...

So yes, the Induction Manual is a synopsis of the Policy Manual and matter from the Induction Manual can be duplicated into the Policy Manual! Hope this helps u!!

Regards,
Chanchal

Induction Manual is a formal Manual ,that contains Macro view of corporate ,structure ,general policies related with day to day company designed with sole motive of providing information to a new entrant.
Policy Manual is a descriptive manual that contains list of Standard practices to complete on the different processes, along with the basic information that is included in the induction phase of an employee.
Thanks and regards
