Dear Nipuna,

As per my knowledge and major concern with HR field you should go for some specialization in :

Industrial Relation , Employees Relation, Payroll executive, MSW , MIS preparation etc.

You are also requested to guide me the key factor as i m also doing PGD HRM from ICFAI (distance) , off line examination. I hope your guidance will be very helpful for me.

Thanks and Regards

Re: part time course in human resource
Dear Nipuna,

I need your help as I have having 5 years experience in Secretarial background, presently working for a reputed real estate group company attached with V.P.

While working it was not possible for me joined regular class so I opted SCDL,PGDHRM enrolled this year'07 for my future prospects.

Hence, I need your advise that the experience as Secy. would be given advantage me or not, is there better prospects in H.R for my future prospects. The MNC's give priority to distance learning or not.

your early response in the matter would be highly solicited.

Dear Nipuna,

There are several part time, distance learning, e-learning courses offered by several institutes. You can find dozens of courses on different aspects of HR.

There can be 2 things actually.

1. It depends on your interest in which field you want to be a specialist or you want to enhance you knowledge.

2. In which field you are working now and in which field you want to make your career. It can be recruitment, PMS, payroll etc.

Regards.

Hi Nipuna,

You know, I was about to tell you about IR but it seems you don't have interest in this field.

You can go ahead with Payroll & Compensation, Performance Management, Organisation Development, Six Sigma etc.

Regards.

Re: part time course in human resource
Hi Nipuna,

You seem to have done already a PGDM in Human Resource. Now that you are working for the last 1 year. I suggest you take some more time to think. Let your working experience grow and it itself shed some prominence over your candidature because now that your recruiters will always want your experience. I suggest let that be 1/2 more years. In the mean time you will get the preferable course to pursue. your experience will indicate you that.

So all the best
Jaydeep
