What is CTC ???
CTC (Cost To Company): It includes Employer contribution To PF (12%)
EXP: if CTC is Rs.8000
Employer Contribution To PF = 12% of CTC

What is Gross Salary???
CTC- Employer Contribution to PF
i.e. 8000-360 = 7640

The CTC stands for Cost to the Company.........wherein all the head of salary and other perks would be counting as CTC...
The Gross Pay and Net Pay would differ from CTC. The explanation given by Maniksing will give you clarity on diff concept of CTC, Gross Pay and Net Pay.

Dear Jyoti,
Simply, the all expenses incurred by a company for an employee is called CTC.
CTC stands for Gross Salary+Employer's Share to PF, ESI, Bonus, etc +LTA + all fixed reimbursements(like medical.mobile, fuel, vehicle repair etc.)
While gross salary stands for all part of salary that includes in salary chart or pay slip without any deduction. Like Basic, DA,HRA, CCA,Conv, Education and Medical Allowances, all other allowances payable in salary.
While take home salary = Gross salary - (Employees share of PF & ESI and any tax (TDS and Prof tax) liablities, welfare fund etc.)
