Recruiter Competencies Hi All,
My view says that the following are few of the competencies expected out of a IT Recruiter for a consulting Job.
1. Strong Communication Skills - Verbal and Written.
Being Strong in communication proves very necessary since recruiter is expected to engage in a dialogue with the prospective employees. The recruiter is expected to generate the interest in the current opening.
2. Strong understanding of Technologies.
Since the IT recruiter is required to do a skill set match with the JD, he is required to have sound understanding (conceptual) of technologies. He should know the combinations that go together.
3. Team Player.
Any company would expect a candidate to be a team player since he is operating in a team.
4. Attitude.
Being honest, punctual and disciplied are all mandatory for any candidate to have.
