Default Corporate training manual

Respected All,

I am in the process of making corporate training manual....can u please help me with the topics to be included in the same and it would also be helpful if somebody provides me with the copy of the same.

Training Manual consist of various training modules depending on the nature and type of business the company is into.

Kindly elaborate on what type of training manual u r specifically looking for.

Dear Anu and Nisha,

i am working for a office automation company having an employee strength of 80. now we are planing to introduce internal training programs. it consists of soft skills as well as technical skills. for how to introduce a training program in any organization. what are the key areas that i should work on?
Can any one provide me the right direction ......

In response to your queries, I would like to point out a few topics which you can incorporate in your manual.
Being a corporate trainer myself I fully understand your need to be aware of the topics which will help to enhance your Company's manual.
Profile of the Company, Its aim/vision,its mission and the underying values it stands by.
Soft skills--personal grooming, motivation, attitude, customer service, customer interaction i.e how to speak to the customer etc
Sales -with respect to your product/service

From the technical aspect have a skill record prepared. Skill record will consist of skills required to perform a particular job or a project. Categorize skills accordingly and maintain a skill record throughout the organization and keep updating it periodically.

From the skill record you may identify, to what aspects the training is required and also it lets you identify if you have in-house trainers.

This way you may prepare your training syllabus and execute it. It also helps the training department to keep its calendar updated and prepare for the future.

The objective of this manual is to prepare a master copy regarding the training system in our organization at all its units. PLease help me with this. 4.3 Considering the “Skill Record” and the training needs identified, “Training Plan” is prepared
Whenever possible the “Training Plan” shall indicate plan for on-the-job trainings. On-the-job training shall focus on good practices, skills improvement and knowledge/awareness of after delivery effect of a quality problem or a non-conforming product.
The “Training Plan” decides the training schedule and a suitable faculty. Where external faculty is required the “List of External Faculties” is referred. Skill Record

4.4 The training schedule i.e. the training date, topic, venue, faculty and the expected participants is communicated to the concerned departments in advance preferably through a circular/IOM and the record of the same shall be maintained.
On-the-job trainings are also planned & executed based on requirements in the events of change of job responsibility and or new job responsibility. The training schedule for on-the-job training should include contractual personnel also. After the training different colours of cards will be issued to contractual labours to know the skill level of the personnel as per the work instruction. Training Plan

Valuable suggestions are collected through “Suggestion and Kaizen form” at all the levels.
