Employer gave acceptance of resignation letter but no relieving letter
Hi everyone old employer says that letter of acceptance of resignation is equivalent of relieving letter so they wont issue relieving letter and they may not accept my request as they are angry with me now since i left them in difficult times. new employer requires relieving letter. am i in trouble ? or what is the way out ?
Difference between resignation acceptance letter and relieving letter?
Is there any difference between resignation acceptance letter and relieving letteras while joining a companybpo i was asked for relieving letter of my first company though i have already provided resignation acceptance letter in which my last date of working is mentioned and subsequently mentioned that i had been relieved from the company take note of that i have already provided them the relieving letter of my last company in which i have workedwhich i believe is more considerablekindly suggest over the same.
Background chek
Hi all small piece of question here to all my dear friends in context to same. if we are doing background check of an employee with current company would it be wise to conduct his background check 1. before giving offer letter or after giving and offer letter: this is because offer letter may be or may not be accepted by him which may show his interest join or not to join the company where he has given an interview. also if during such particular moment background check is done would it effect his seniors attitude and thinking towards him if in case he stays with his present company. 2. at the time he puts in his resignation to the company where he is working. this moment may indicate that he has decided to join the new company because it is only after he accepts the offer letter he puts in his papers with the company that he is working. doing background check at his moment may not harm him because he will not be associated with the company that he is working and also the company gets to know by this time by his gesture of putting his paper resignation letter that the is relieving. kindly inform when is it best suited to do background check of candidate assuming all above situations... thanks with regards
Current employer delaying relieving letter , new employer demanding it
I have worked for my company for more than 5 years and have resigned recently and serving 1 month notice period instead of 3 months for which i have requested for waiver or i am ready to adjust the same in my earned leaves also. but that not the real problem i guess my current employer will delay the relieving letter as they are not ready to give anything in writing like acceptance of resignation etc and are not committing when they will issue reliving letter as they said they have given for acceptance from management but no commitment on timelines.it might be due to personal rivalries. i am worried as now only a couple of days are pending for me in this company. however they are harassing me in a legally correct way as they are neither stopping me from leaving bonded labor nor they are saying they will not give me relieving letter. they know i require to submit the relieving letter to new company so trying to sabotage my career by not giving relieving letter at the right time. can a new company who is insistent on relieving letter from the start take new employee without relieving letter. what should i do ?
