REASON WHY EMPLOYEE HATES HR
Hey I found one reason which makes employees hate HR.
In my experiences with my friends including those who are HR and who are not in HR, all are found to overstay in office. When I ask them dear cant you do your work in time, they tell they always have more work that they can do. Same is the case with the HR's also. I have spoken with HR and found that they themselves stay after office hours, and when I ask them why cant they manage their job in time, they also cant give proper answer.
So how come the HR cant do proper manpower mapping, and howcome HR stay after office almost daily, if this is the case with HR then what well can they do for the organisation. Here HR itself is in need of proper time management. Then comes judging the employees. Hence employees hate HR, as the HR themselves are not perfect still expect employees to be perfect.

Dear Sender
HR people are always unbiassed and handle the situation very diplomatically without hurting anybody's feelings and they bring the desired result to the management. They can't be friend to anybody since their nature of job is defined and confidential issues can't be revealed to others as what done in other departments.(for the interest of the organisation)
As regards late sitting and doing the work, is not acceptable, as normally HR people will not function very late, but are available around the clock for the help of employees and organisation.
Your observation may be a exceptional case and it is not applicable to all industries.

i very well agree with you. There are people who stay back after office hours and called themselves busy. However, the fact is that they don't have time management skills and finally landed up staying back at office due to incomplete work.

Hi Ravi
HR should always set an example or lead by example. In your situation looking from outside, without knowing the actual work load, we may not be able to come to a conclusion. In small and mid sized organisation, HR will look into admin, personal matters of seniors staff, tax, legal, travel arrangemets etc. Hence, their work load may be high. However, how the load should be balanced is in the hands of the of their department head
Ravi, I think you posted the following, which it self has the answer, why people hate HR
In my experience, I found HR is hated by many because, HR is forced to send or frame polices which hurts employees or restricts their freedom or when good support is not given by them to employees

Dear All,

I want to Thank Ravi for getting this topic to discussion. In my earlier post I tried to convey the same message please click <link no longer exists - removed>

There are people saying that they hate HR but they forget the fact that they are here in the organization due to HR and their rights have been safeguarded due to a set of HR Policies and Procedure which will definitely be in accordance with local labor laws and generally accepted principles, they get increments and promotions based on performance appraisal conducted by HR and even when they leave they get their End of Service Benefits. If we are not then who will take care of them. But still they hate us..............

To be fact Human Being is a lazy and unsatisfied animal, he never thinks of anything else except his own individual benefits. Whereas we being in HR has to be very particular about the organization development so when time comes we have to take some strict actions against the employees and most of the times this will be due to the ignorance of the employee or misbehavior of another employee.

I want to know why we are the only people blamed while their managers request us to take a action against them due to their failures or problem making attitude. No organization want to take a risk of recruiting a new person by terminating a good performer.

Well friends add some more to this topic! I am over and out.
