Default Which would you pick - Friend or Career?

Hi! all,
( WHICH ONE YOU PICK- A FRIEND/ CAREER?........................................... ......................................)
i'ud like to resolve an issue dat happened to one of my co-worker.

She is into Training & Development from the past 3 years. she came to this level with a lot of pain and thrust. now she was hooked up in a diplomatic satiation.

She was a Corporate Trainer. For obligation she moved her self to a small budding company which promised her growth(professionally), but unfortunately they weren't.

Now, she is trying hard to move out. But when ever she speak this with the project manager(Her best Friend) he ask her to stay back. He still promise her that the expansion is going to happen soon. But there is a big NO to dat.

So kindly suggest me on behalf of her. What she need to do. To quit/ to stay back with the company which is not helping her to grow.

Bcoz if she quit( she need to hurt her friend(pM)). If she stay she need to hurt her-self.

Please make this point clear.

Kindly, Yours

karthikGhali

Frankly saying, she should search for the right opportunity and do what she loves to do.

she can talk to her boss (friend) that it is difficult for her to continue. She has given enough time and there are some good opportunities passing by her. So she cannot compromise.

THere is a lot of difference between Adjustment and Compromise.

You should always adjust in a situation. but never compromise.

Let ur friend get a good opportunity and then talk to her friend (boss)

HI,
I am a HR Manager working for a Software company, i would strongly believe in our own self rather than getting disturbed by other's decisions.
I strongly believe that one should feel happy and safe wherever he/she works whether it is his/her own company or friend's or a corporate. So from that point of view i would suggest that you have an option to focus on your career rather than waiting for other's decision. I would tell, patience is required but not to that extent. You can get suggestions but you ultimately have to make the decision. Please think it over as you wont get back the time which you have spend yesterday.

Hi Karthick

Personal is different from official..

Friend is some thing different from official perspective.. Let her talk with her friend ( The project manager) and share her views openly..

We can adjust in work environments but we should not compromise. Losing our peace by trying to please our friend.

True friend can really understand..

Ask Her to think quietly and tell her to do what her head says...
