| |  Attendance Format
Hi, I newly joined in a company.They are entering attendance manually in an Excel sheet, using some formulas.In that I found all mistakes, the HR gave me a job to prepare a good Attendance sheet in excel only. Friends plz help me in this issue and forward me the best method for the attendance.

Hi Sunitha,
Entering the attendance in an excel sheet will definitely require some formulas at the time of payroll processing...
Prepare a sheet in an excel sheet with the headers-
1. Employee Code
2. Employee Name
3. Designation
4. Date of Joining
5. Start with the entering 1st 2nd, 3rd and so on till the last date of the month
6. Below the date just mark P for present, A for absent, L for Leave, W for week off and H for Holidays... after filling the data use the formula count if to calculate number of A as well as number of L.. it will be used for the payroll processing..

Hi Amit,
Thx for your immediate response. But I have another doubt, monthlast we have to calculate the EL, SL if not LOP, Pls give me the required formulas or format .
