you have not specified the country where you holds the buisiness visa. still, in our company, we do send our employees on business visa for short term onsite assignments to work at our U.S office or at our client locations (upto 3 months or 6 months if extension needed) even though it is not allowed in U.S. we will pay his salary at our india office and will arrange his accomodation at company or client expense, also a nominal per diem will pay as weekly / monthly in advance.
but legally you are not suppose to work when you are going in business visa! this is only for business meetings, discussions, training etc....
