Why The Guy Has Rejected .....

My Dear Friends…

One of a guy was attained for three interviews and every interview he was cleared all technical interview rounds. But when he came across HR round HR asked him a Question and straight away rejected him.

Actually the guy education is B.E (EEE) and applied for testing job (Software).

Question: “Why you are changing your Education domain?”

And the guy has gave answer that he has interest in this field.
His communication is good and have good etiquettes.

Friends so may I know the reason why the HR has rejected him?

Hi,

As far as I understand this question would not be the reason for his rejection. In an HR interview, there are a lot of parameters apart from the qualification, work ex, etc that are looked upon.

HR professional judges a person on his attributes rather than on his technical skills etc. There are a lot of undisclosed evaluations that are done during the interview, like the body language, handwriting analysis, attitude judgement and several qualities that the interviewee is judged upon.

Therefore, I think that that question alone can not be the reason for his rejection.

Hi Anurag,

Can you predict why the guy was rejected. Its fine if was rejected by one HR but he was disqualified in three HR rounds.

Dear Friends,

May be the some other potential candidate selected already just before his interview and HR is thinking to give the offer to previous candidate. Here the number of openings may be the reason "Not to select the candidate" rather than rejection.

Yes I know, even I do the same thing in an interview process. But someone ask about others perceptions then it is very hard to predicts.

One of guy was asked "why I was rejected in an HR round". Then I was helpless. Even I gave the same answer to him which you people have given. But I was not satisfying me.

Now I can satisfy myself that you to have the same perception what I have.....

I will be more happy If anyone can give more inputs on this discussion and continue this discussion till a conclusion.

You said that your friend had good communication skills...but I think you need to improve yours....

Well, people take decisions based on the information or data that they have. Based on the data provided by you, it is difficult to understand why the HR rejected this person. However, there can be N number of reasons (not related to HR aspects of HR and yet reasons to get rejected)...dressing sense, communication, behaviour, attitude, body language etc.
I hope, this will give you some idea...
