PF TRANSFER HURDLES FROM MY EX EMPLOYER

HI I HAD RESIGNED FROM COMPANY X & JOINED COMPANY Y,
I HAVE THE RELIEVING & EXPERIENCE LETTER FROM X,I DID NOT SERVE THE COMPLETE NOTICE PERIOD @ COMPANY X WHICH WAS MUTUALLY ACCEPTED DUE TO SOME DOMESTIC PROBLEM,MOREOVER I HAD AROUNG 24 PAID HOLIDAYS REMAINING FOR WHICH THEY COMPENSATED FOR THE BALANCE NOTICE PERIOD.
NOW WHEN I APPLIED FOR A PF TRANSFER THROUGH COMPANY Y, I GOT A COMMENT ON THE FORM THROUGH THE EMPLOYER X SAYING THAT THE EMPLOYEE HAS NOT SERVED THE DESIRED NOTICE PERIOD OR LIKE SO & HENCE THE TRANFER DID NOT TAKE PLACE.
IS THERE AN ALTERNATE WAY THAT I CAN GET MY PF TRANFERRED FROM COMPANY X?

No Ex employer can turn down your request for transfer of PF account to your new account just because you have not served the notice period. I think it is offense from their part. If you have not served the notice period they should have asked you to make payment in lieu of the notice period or during the full and final settlelment they should have deducted the notice period payment.

I think you should approach them and speak to them ( bcoz u already say that the mgmt had agreed for your exit though u had not served the notice period) then i am sure the matter would be settled amicably. Even then if they are not transferring, then you can approach the regional provident fund commissioner. Pl retain the original reliving letter carefully.
