Hello dear members i am very new here and would like some valuable advice regarding my career. i am presently doing my pgdm distance from a reputed institute and would like to know if i should join an h.r. training courses in delhi ncr which give a 1 months handson training. most of them don t seem a little shoddy..sorry but it s true. are there any good one s of repute? most of them promise job placements but i m not so sure.. i have no experience in h.r. per se but have vast industry knowlege in aviation kpo and adverstising. yes i am a late bloomer when it comes to career choices : but i know h.r. is my calling. so any guidance would be greatly appreciated. thanks all and a very happy new year 2013
Want to pursue a career in training and development
Dear all i am shilpi & am new to citehr. it s a great platform to bond with like minded people from your own profession. well i have close to 7 years exp in hr generalist role. since last 1 year i am on break from my career and now i am trying back to get into action but not getting much relief. if i see my interest level it lies much in training & development but unfortunately i do not carry any experience into the same. this is where i need help & guidance from my superiors. please suggest the next move for how can i pursue it and make full time career in my life. i am looking forward to gain some practical training/course to enter this t&d field. looking forward for suggestions. thanks & regards shilpi thakur shilpithakur79gmail.com

Hello i am an mba hr with 3 yrs of experience. i have started my career as recruiter in a consultancy. after that it was very difficult to swap into hr generalist role. however at present i am associated with a co. as hr executive but the kra does not include generalist roles moreover my package has also n t satisfactorily increased in the due time. i am facing the most crucial error of "saturated career growth". i am seeking advice from the experts regarding my further career move.if i should do any short term course or not? i will be very much grateful if i get the guidance. looking forward to hear soon. thanks
