Tagline of the business unit reflects core function of the business, uniqueness of the brand. Nevertheless, devising tagline helps in branding of your company. But then question comes what is that you have done to promote the brand of the company, what is that you have done to gauge the strength of the brand of the company?
Opposite view: - I would not like to discourage but companies not just throve but prospered even without tagline. Tagline or not, what matters is recall value of the brand in the minds of the customers. Who cared the tagline of the iphone while purchasing a phone that Apple Inc produced? Customers do not get attracted because of the tagline but because company has capacity to delight or thrill the customers. Google has penetrated in the lives of the people the world over. Did anybody bother to check the tagline of Google?
Yours is a product that is mainly used by the women. Therefore, a tagline should take into account the women psychology. Tagline should appeal urban women, especially those who are from upmarket.
