You may write a letter of resignation to the employer giving reference of the earlier terms and condition of 2 month notice period. Since, at the time of joining the notice period was two month and therefore the same will be applicable in your case.

Change in any clause of appointment letter is not valid till the time both parties are agreed to it. As they have not taken your consent for changing notice period thus it is not mandatory for you to follow the same. You can inform same thing to your company or you may contact any labour office for further intervention if they dint agree.
