Default learning and learning

Hi All.

I have heard about people who does not want to stop earning degrees and diplomas. People go on continuing their studies that even after 5 or 6 degrees, they refuse to stop.

What motivates such people?
Are they kind of Type A personalities?
Is the ‘job of’ earning degree just an excuse to run away from their other responsibilities or they always want to be a student (fixation)?

I recently heard that a 74 year old man secured an MA in Sociology or something and still want to study. While learning is an ongoing process, does it necessarily mean that one has to earn a lot of degrees and diplomas?
Does earning lot of degrees, diplomas and certificates do any good to one’s career or actually hamper it?
I would like to know your views.

Phew…lot of questions…aint? But please answer.

hi sree

its simple

known is a drop, unknown is a ocean

This is the way some people have a mind setup. but again there are some personal objectives set by these people and they have a passion to study and learn throughout their life. the only reason is they have such passion.

with warm regards
