Dear all

Thank you very much for the support extended to my queries.

I request the erudite members of this forum to elucidate some of their views for the following.

In India, equal rights of women always not accepted (still we struggle to bring 33% reservation bill) though there are laws to protect women in Employment and education and other fields.

But a women employee suffers more ill treatment and gender biasness by this male chauvanistic society.

How to protect this sort of Gender harassment at workplace in India.

A fine thread is available in the following links, where in US personal liberty is ensured once again by this link. (Where hefty sum of several crores of rupees were offered as a compensation for Gender harassment at work place by a prominent manager of this elite company)

Let us brainstorm personal liberty between two countries namely USA and India.

With best regards

Dear Trisha
The Apex court has set clear guidelines to be followed by the corporates/employer to prevent acts of gender harassment and to provide procedures for resolution, settlement or prosecution for gender harassment in "Vishaka & Others Vs State of Rajasthan & others".
The soft copy of the above judgment by Supreme Court is enclosed for your reference.
The guidelines to be followed by the employer is mentioned in 'blue' colour.
Hope you will find it useful.
Thanks & Regards
