=292/20-14.6 it should be 14.5 or 14

Mr Sarvanan, Your calculation procedure is contrary to the provisions and it is better to take corrective measures as rightly advised by PRATEEKSHAA above. P K Sharma

It is not the present days of an employee its period of work which means the weekly off and or any holiday has to be counted. Further as advised by seniors above any fraction of half day and above are treated as full day, and any fraction below half day has to be nullified.

As per the suggessions I can do the changes.
But, my company is not governed under "Factories Act".
"Shops & Establishment Act" doesn't say about the fractions. Let me know the exact act, so that I can make the necessary changes.

Every fraction of 0.5 and above has to be rounded off to the next higher digit. Fraction up to 0.4 can be ignored in counting.

The Shops and Establishment Act may be silent about the fraction but the days can be calculated to the nearest rounding off which is globally acceptable practice. Factories Act can be used as case study
