Dear All,
I am working in a diamond industry in HR dept. The company have several units in Gujrat, Maharashtra.
I want to know what is Minimum wages payble to the worker in Diamond Industry in Gujrat & in Maharshtra.

I have gone through link you have given above, but unble to find out the current Minimum Wages of Gujrat. The link given by you, have minimum wages upto 31/03/2007.
Can you give me latest one?

Dear Rohit,
If the worker is not getting the minimum wages then he may approach to the Govt. Labour Officer/ Asst. Labour Commissioner. On his approach the GLO/ALC may make an enquiry, if during the enquiry, it is found that the employer is not paying minimum wages to the worker then they will issue Show-cause notice to the employer as why action should not be taken against them.
However it alway advisable to pay atleast Minimum wages to the workers.
