Dear Friends,

I had recently cleared technical rounds and a HR round in Accenture, india. I have been asked to fill the EAF form by the HR.
I have a foreign degree which is essential for the job. In the HR interview, i was asked how long the course was. I told them it was 16 month long (which the HR interviewer entered in his system). i had included the class course + internship. Afterwards i checked the transcript and found that it mentioned the course to be 10 months only as they did not include the internship as i had already received required credits for graduation. Now i am planning to enter the correct date range in the EAF, along with copies of Degree and Transcript (which are genuine), which will be at odds with data entered during the HR interview. Will this be a problem now?

Also, another problem related to this, in the resume i had entered the date range for the course from 'class start month' to 'graduation ceremony month' which again differs from the transcript. Will these be important issues which might create problem during educational background check? And will i be allowed to give an explanation even?

Regards,
Diya K

Explanations and documentary proof can always be give, but such errors do create avoidable issues which then need clarifications.
Do contact their concerned HR person who scrutinises the educational entries on the system and then gets verification done.Earlier rectifications are done the better it is.
