Professional Tax in Chennai

We have just incorporated a software company in Chennai and are in the process of recruiting the man power- what is the minimum number of employees in the company that would attract the professional tax act. Can you please furnish he tax details, where and how to remit it every month and to whom.

We`are interested in outsourcing our pay roll functions to some one who can visit our office in the month end and prepare the pay roll for our employees and guide us deductions like Income Tax, Professional tax etc.

The max. no of employees thatwe may recruit before 31.3.2008u would be around 25.
