Minimum Wages Rules in Maharashtra - Pls Help

Hi Folks,
For our company expansion plan I need to know latest minimum wages policies in Maharashtra. It is urgent please help.

Hi,

Are you familiar with the Minimum Wages Act 1948 at all?

To answer your query, you must inform us:

1) The nature of indusry/activity your company proposes to start in Maharashtra.
2) The specific location within Maharashtra where the ctivity will be based.
3) Type of employment you would create in terms of skill levels.

Once these three things are answered, you can expect a competent reply!

We are regestered company under shops and estabilishment act. Basically we are IT based project company which is working on e-gvernance projects like meter reading for electricity board.
Our requirements are from MBA to 12th standard candidates for diferrent positions.
We are supposed to start our operations in
1. Pune
2. Navi-Mumbai
3. Kalyan
4. Bhandup
5. Nagpur

I am aware of Mininmum Wages Act 1948 but I need specific latest details for Operator level people as in MP it is 2526/- per month.

Pls Help.

in what respect u need help...
is it with the implementation of min wages or the applicability..!

anyways i ll suggest you a bookall your quries will be sorted out it contains almost all notifications fixing, revisied minimum rates of wages i maha. as amended up to date,
books name THE MIN WAGE ACT,1948 AND MAHA MIN WAGES RULES,1963 BY S.D. PURI an SNOW WHITE PUBLICATION u can find it in any law book stores in metro cities or cities like nagpur or visit its site www.swpindia.com : and even though u are not satisfied then refer CLR or mail me back.

Thank You for reply. I will search for the suggested book as I am in MP now. In actual I was looking for actual "Minimum Wages" for skilled and unskilled labour.
