Hii...I am working in reputed company and my esic deducted ....... And my husband working in Public sector company and he gets medical facility where myself also gets coverage so now i want to withdraw my esic so that i can get more benefit from his company's medical. Please help me out ..........

ESI is mandatory. You have to remain compulsory covered even if you are covered by other/ better insurance and medical facility.

Dear member, the coverage and benefits under ESI Act, 1948 are due to the reasons that you are working in such unit where said Act is applicable. There is no exemption on the basis that the spouse of any insured person is getting some medical benefits his being employee in any PSU. However, it is also submitted for your information that the benefits under above Act are more comprehensive and wider in scale as may be available to the family members of an employee in any PSU.
