Interview Questions - HR

Dear fellow members of CiteHR,

I would like to get your inputs on how to answer the following questions in an interview as a Fresher (MBA-HR)

Q. Why would you like to take up HR as a career option/specialisation?
or
Q. Why HR?

Could you please help with how to answer and for this particular question what the employer is looking for.

Hi Mini,

I can send you the answer for this particular question but you know you need to think that why did u do MBA in HR? is it ur interest or just to do any PG ...what exactly made u take HR??

While answering the above question u need to show ur zeal in HR, that would reflect dat u r going to luv ur job...u can say u have good people skills n interpersonal skills n u like to interact with different people n u would like get indulgein making plan n put ur efforts for developing people ur working with.

Thanks for the reply..

I hav also gone through the same situation. Since I hav done BSc in CS later done MBA in HR, during interview i was getting rejected due to same question.. why MBA after BSc.. Can u suggest a convincing answer for this question. It will be a great help from you..
