Dear All Friends,
Advices will be highly appriciated as mentioned below:
1. If any employer pay the bonus 20% (coz he is bound to pay if allocable surplus is higher than minimum payable bonus) as per the bonus act.
My query:
1. Suppose, we pay maximum bonus in a year and after next 3 years there wasn't any allocable surplus so whether we can reduce the % of the bonus and can pay minimum bonus (8.33%) as per legal point of view.

Yes you can do that. for more clarification please refer to section 15 of Payment of Bonus Act. Again also see what is the amount available as "Available Surplus" according to the act.
