Default ISO Certification

Hi,

My company is not an ISO certified organisation bt they plan to get an ISO certification.
Can anybody help me the procedure to get an organisation ISO certified?
What all documents are required and whom do we need to approach intially?
Pls. help

well first of all let me know which certification do u want? 9001, 14001 or 18001.
You need to speak to a consultant in this respect

let me know inb which type of industry u r working for ? for which certification 9001 , 14001 , 18001 , 22000 .

Dear Manali,
follow PDCA ( Plan do chk act )cycle
1. Appoint a Management Representative Assign core Team
2 Identifying gaps in documentations & review with respective team /depts same
3.Putting in std. format
4.Implementation as per documented procedures /manual
5.Mandatory procedures ( Dont forget )
6.Internal auditors training
7.Conducting internal audit
8.Closure of all NCRs
9.Management Review Meeting
10.Approaching to certification body
11Pre-assessment audit
12.Certification audit.

Hi,
Y wasting time???
Call helpline number (22222222) they will give you contact number of all certificing agencies. as per your company budget, you can approch them. It takes 6 months time for certification for ISO (ANY).

Need more information???

Manjali,

a) buy the ISO 9001 standard from Bureau of Indian Stnadards, Manak Bavan, ITO, Delhi (cost is 300/- approx). get your staff trained on the same form them, their internal auditor programme is the cheapest in the country apprx 5000/-

2) meet the ASSOCHAM people.. they will provide templates of ISO 9001 documentaion at the cheapest price ie 1500/-
